Veronica Martinez

Partner

Veronica is a founding partner of Banahan Martinez Weatherford, PLLC where she concentrates her practice in real estate and business transactions.  Prior to forming  Banahan Martinez Weatherford, Veronica was an associate attorney at a small firm in the Katy area where she represented real estate investors, individuals, and small business owners in a wide variety of transactions.  Before obtaining her license to practice law in Texas, Veronica worked as a paralegal and escrow officer where she gained valuable experience supporting attorneys for over 10 years in title and contract review as well as estate administration and probate matters.

Veronica is also licensed to practice law in Mexico; she obtained her Mexican law degree in 1996 from the University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She moved to the Houston area in 1997 to expand her legal knowledge and experience, and pursued her license to practice law in Texas.  Veronica attained her Masters of Law from the University of Houston Law Center in 2014 and her license in 2016.

​In her limited, but existing free time, Veronica enjoys the company of her two boys, husband, and family dog finding great delight in spending time with them in the Space City.  Veronica is also an active member of the Katy Church of Christ where she regularly teaches bible class.
