About Alex

Alex Weatherford

Partner

Alex joined the firm as a partner in 2022. He concentrates his practice in corporate law, which includes company formations, master services agreements, lease agreements, asset & stock purchases, loan documents, secured transactions, and contractor agreements. Alex also represents owners, landlords, buyers, sellers, general contractors and subcontractors in contract disputes, real estate litigation and construction litigation.

Alex grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. He earned his undergraduate degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas – Dallas. Alex moved to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2011.

Alex is a father of four and enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his family and friends. After surviving a plane crash in 2014, Alex began playing sled hockey and completed the Houston Marathon.
